Generator Chatter
Almost everyone now knows that they can use a portable generator to supply their home or business with needed electricity when the power fails. What people don’t know are the drawbacks of this method.
Take fuel for example, you have to add gasoline to a portable to keep it running.
Power quality can vary on portables making it a poor choice for your television or refrigerator, let alone hooking it up to a heating system or computer without proper power filtering.
What about the noise? Your neighbors may understand but they are far away from it; you have it right outside your home.
Most importantly, you have to start and transfer power manually to your appliances with extension cords.
If you are away on a winter vacation and the power goes out, who will keep your basement from flooding or all your food from spoiling? If you have a computer server, your entire business network could be affected. Could you afford to lose power when it's 15 below outside?
An Automatic back-up power system is the solution.
We can’t predict when weather, natural disasters or over-loaded electric grids will disrupt power to your home or business, but you can prepare for them.
Using microprocessor technology the system continuously monitors your utility power. When the normal power fails, the controller turns the generator on then transfers to emergency. When the utility is restored, it transfers back to normal power and shuts down the generator. It’s all automatic, no operator is needed. This system will also exercise weekly for 12 minutes to insure your generator runs perfectly when you need it most.
